I work for an Estate Agent for a company in Berkshire, UK. Back in March of this year I was due to meet some clients who were interested in a house that had been on the market for a while. It was vacant possession - the owners had already moved out. I was early, so decided to just wait in the car until they showed up. After twenty minutes they phoned to say they were sorry they were late but they were just five minutes away. I had no other bookings that afternoon, so it was no real problem to me. The only problem was that I was really beginning to need the loo. Normally this wouldn't have been a problem as you can usually use (obviously!) the toilets in the house. Unfortunately, as the owners has already moved, all the water had been shutoff and the toilets drained and sealed. No problem I thought, I could wait.
However the clients (an old couple) arrived about twenty minutes later by which time I badly needed a wee. They obviously liked the house and stayed for ages asking question after question. They walked round the house, kept going into each room and visually measuring things up and all the time I was thinking "Oh please just go - I really need a wee!"
Eventually they finished and I saw them back to their car and off they went. I was bursting by this time and didn't want to wait the fifteen minutes it would take to get back to the office. So I decided to find somewhere in the garden to have a wee. That was fine - there was a little secluded area just behind the garage at the side of the house so off I went and squatted for a pee.
Suddenly I heard a car draw up and familiar voices getting closer. There I was, squatting in mid pee when my two clients came round the corner - the man had left his wallet in one of the bedrooms! I don't know who was more embarrassed but I suspect it was me!
