Sucks Ive been there. Depending on your financial situation you are likely gonna get screwed even worse. Courts now days do not care about cheating at all. Get the best lawyer you can and be prepared to lose at least half of everything you have. If she hasnt worked you might even be required to pay alimony. Reason why I will Never marry again. Davey, this was truly difficult to read. But, I agree with the above poster. Find a good lawyer, make the best deal you can and then you can begin to heal. You will be forced to pay child support. Hopefully, your kids aren't too far from 18. Don't concede the house. Sell it and take your share. I'm pretty sure the old guy who fucked her was only looking for pussy. I have to agree with some of the guys who say let her do it. You’re lucky she told you she was honest she could have been nicer about it but even then it still would have hurt. Seek therapy for yourself and get your mind right. Figure out what you want your future to look like and plan the steps to do that. Whether you divorce or stay you should research the facts and statistics of that and see if you are okay with that. Odds are if your wife cheated she was tapped out long before. Lots of research explains this as typically women will establish an emotional connection to whom they cheat and they lose respect towards their husband. Research shows most women that do this will continue to cheat. Obviously everyone is different so only You can decide on what you think is best.

Some people say not to make a rash decision and that is probably good advice. Figure yourself out and decide if you want to be with your wife and can live with it. Giving ultimatums never works so I would rule that out. Get some therapy and good luck

To be honest, the best form of therapy is sex. The minute he finds a hot, ideally younger, girl to fuck, he will forget about his wife's infidelity.
