Yes, but not by much.
Cut out dairy products - especially cheese and butter - and go easy on the carbs.
Take up hiking or bike riding on the weekends.
You'll be fine.

Well there is more than just age height and weight to tell if a person is overweight. But to be honest 129 lbs is really not alot. If you think you should get thinner. I would suggest looking to make a couple of changes in eithor your diet or your exercise plans (or both). For instance instead of eating chocolate or ice cream at night maybe eat an orange or an apple. And try drinking water instead of pop or sports drinks. Also add in some walking or jogging and maybe some weight training. Any of those are good options....just pick a couple and try to remember to do them and slowly you will become a healtier person.

It might be well to know that the average weight for men in the late I9th centure in America was I35lbs.!
Weighing 5O% more than what used to be normal just can't be good for us.

YOU ARE NOT FAT. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. A female, for each inch over 5 feet, should weight an 5 additional pounds over 100. For example, at 5 feet = 100 lbs at 5'1 = 105, so at 5'5 you should weigh at least 125 lbs.

No, you are not overweight...at 5'5" thats a perfectly healthy weight if it is all distributed evenly throughout your body. What are your measurements, thats a better way of figuring if you are overweight or not. However, if you really are concerned with it, tone up some. Take up Yoga, it'll tone your muscles and work off any "softness" that you may have, not to mention its very stress relieving.

Oh, and keep in mind, MUSCLE weighs more than FAT so as you're toning up, you're going to drop weight first, maybe 5-10lbs, then you're going to start putting on a little more as you gain more muscle mass.

If you want to look like an Aids ridden skeleton or a crack whore go a head and listen to the assholes that suggested you lose weight. The problem in this world today is that you either look like a skinny skank or a fat cow...You are at a healthy weight!
