What Woman Doesn't Want Another Wife, What Man Turns Down Two Wives
I think that we have turned the corner on 'conventional' and 'unconventional' relationships are accepted. In my case, it is a man with two wives. This is not new at all, men naturally can have more than one wife at a time, we just short circuited the 'serial' nature of multiple wives.
As wives we met at work. We became work friends. Shared our feelings. She dated Jack and became pregnant by him. The whole 'miracle' was front and center. Yes, we both were emotional, surprised, and welcomed the miracle. We moved in together because the lease situation at my complex happened to permit us to move into a two bedroom. We were happy to become parents. Between us we could make it work.
He became jealous. He all of a sudden wanted to be involved. At that time he was intruding on our time. Putting up with him took all of our emotional reserves. Why? Who knows, but we told him front and center there was no her without me. As any red blooded guy understands, offering him two women was a no brainer. To him it was twice the fun. And twice the headache, two women can and do gang up. It took a long time to work out the rules for us. Basically, one day we saw the light, we had to be 'wives' and we had to accept him as the 'husband'.
Men naturally gravitate to their role, and we 'naturally' accepted our role. A wife is a wife.
We did move to sharing the same bed, to sharing intimacy, to reveling in each other's pleasure of having been with him. The personal space involved him, between us, on us, around us. Our little world expanded to allow a husband in.
We are now fifteen years together. We have five children between us. We renewed our vows. He grew up fast, and we followed. A marriage like ours require grown ups, not kids. If you have the right wife by your side you can accept a husband in your house. The wives invite the husband in. That much we understand.
