How I Landed A Nurse

When I moved to Austin for grad school I took a third floor apartment in an older complex. Next door lived a nursing student Laura. She had a killer schedule plus she worked part time. I tried but she didn't quite show any interest.

When the big chill shut down the city I went over to check on her. She was insistent on going to the hospital where she was doing a rotation. I nixed it, put my foot down, went hard ass on her. Not on my watch, your staying put where you're safe.

I had this propane camp stove, and a couple of bottles of propane. I heated up some tomato soup, and cold sandwich. It was damn cold, with no tv, we had to talk. In the end it was too cold so I suggested we get under the blankets. Your not going to do anything to me, she scolded me.

But in the cold, things happened. Some clothes came off and there was some hot action. We stayed under the covers, except to use the bathroom. Sometime during that night she told me I wasn't her type. Well I answered, you aren't my type either.

The long and short of it is that she packed up her stuff and we loaded it in the U Haul when we left Austin for Raleigh. Still not your type I asked her. No, not my type but your driving.
