Family ≠ Propaganda

So a few days back someone commented on a very sincere and innocent post about family love, dismissing family love as propaganda and saying that the site should be shut down.

We lost Raw Confessions, which was a genuinely jncest-friendly online community, due to that kind of puritanical complaining.

No one is asking you to love a member of your family. We're just asking you to respect the fact that we do.

I can help that I loved my brother, who passed away a few years ago, and then my uncle, who is my second husband.

The heart wants what it wants.

Although your kind of love...loving strangers and trusting them with the deepest intimacies...doesn't excite me at all, I sincerely wish you the best and hope it turns out well for you.
