A Casual Meeting And A Life Long Love Followed And Is With Us Today
A custom in my family was for all girls to attend all girl schools. Boys attended all boy schools. These were religious schools. When the boys finished primary school they attended military boarding school.
I had a knack for drawing and my art teacher encouraged me to study art at a formal institution. In school we used paintings as a source of work. I enjoyed drawing with pastels. And some were famous nudes. At that time I was very attracted to the female firm, in all its variety. My friend posed for me and these pastels remained hidden.
When I went to art school I was exposed to the male physique. It was so uninteresting, plain and ugly. The males who posed sometimes did not cover their penis, which I found ugly and unnecessary. I focused on females, and in art school I met Morgan, a girl from Vermont. She was quite the exhibitionist, and I was quite the nude artist. We became active sexually. Spending a Saturday afternoon totally nude was a fun afternoon, we became very aware of all our crevasses, and found our breasts the focus of oral attention.
We were never going to get married, we had no interest in boys or men, we were prepared to spend our lives barren. I think our disgust with boys and men transferred to outright disgust of their penis. We were beautiful the way God made us, men were ugly and obnoxious.
Life did not treat us fairly, Morgan fell first, to a boy she grew up with, found herself pregnant and married. I followed a few months later. Like it or not, we had to allow a man, have sex with us, and become pregnant. Marriage followed. We had no real skills for employment, so we became homemakers and mothers. We had each other, distant yes, but we spoke and wrote letters. We shared drawings of nude girls, of ourselves in the mirror.
It wasn't until years later that we independently came to the realization, we were lesbians and were very much in love. I discussed it with my husband, he let me travel to see her, to force a physical interaction. She did not share her feelings with her husband. I returned home wholly convinced, I had no doubt, I was in love with her. And our embrace proved it.
It was a long five years, by then we had school age children, a functional home, a husband. Surrendering our lives to be together. We had to manage, my husband did not support a divorce, a broken home. He proposed he have his company hire her husband and move close to us. And that is how we again saw each other, embraced, stole kisses, spent hours together.
Her husband passed in an accident, my husband took her in. And that is how we live today. And in our drawer in the lady's room in our home, we have our drawings, drawings of young women, nude, vibrant, exposed for the pencil. Those days are great memories. Memories I've shared with you today.
