When You Are One Of Your Daddy's Girls
I'm in an office extramarital relationship with an older man. I went out with some girlfriends and one of them referred to him as my 'daddy'. I didn't correct her. I don't know what to call him. My 'daddy' sounded good. It describes the way I feel when I'm in his arms.
After that day, with my friends, when I talk about him I use 'daddy' to refer to him. I made the mistake of calling him 'daddy'. He didn't correct me, and he liked me calling him 'daddy', so I used it when we were alone. I liked calling him 'daddy', as in my 'daddy' loves me.
With the passage of time that's the general description everyone used. Your daddy called. My daddy wants me to go with him. It became a word, no special, meaning.
But one day when I wasn't thinking I got a call on my office phone. The woman said 'it's Nena, your daddies wife'. At that point I knew it had gone too far. I asked her, and she said 'every girl has a daddy, and those that don't are looking for one'. And followed 'he's my daddy too, I guess that makes us sisters'.
When I'm around and she's around she says to me 'go sit with your daddy, you know he wants you too'.
My daddy loves me, and he loves her too. He says we both fit in his heart. And sometimes, like at Christmas, we both sit with daddy. He refers to us as 'girls', his girls.
