Unexpected Family Addition
As a married lady I got angry with my friend T who insisted on kissing my husband on the mouth. We were at a birthday party for a mutual friend, and as usual T rode with us. At the party T sat on my husbands lap and said something like 'waiting to see what comes up'. Embarrassed, upset, I called her out, hurting her feelings. Our friend Pat called me back to the kitchen, 'she needs, capital N needs, to get laid, so back off and let J (my husband) do his part.'
I wasn't aware that friends let husbands do their part. He refused, 'your kidding!'
"No, I'm not, like it or not T needs you to satisfy her needs, by YOU."
T is part of the house, in a comfortable corner, picks up where I leave off, her 'needs' comforted by my husband. All is well that ends well. All in the family. Modern family.
