Awakening

I was raised by my grandparents as my mother left me with them when I was very young due to her addiction. Later found out in my teens my mother died of a overdose. Anyways my grandparents were very loving and provided me with lots of security and support growing up. They lived just outside a small town on a small farm so that is what I was used to.

After high school I went away to university and got a degree in engineering. Began working up north for a mining company. Rented accommodations in the small town near the mine. Within a year sadly both my grandparents passed away from cancer in their 60's. I was heartbroken and combined with the break up I had with my girlfriend I met in university left me in a desolate place. My work was very involving and living in a somewhat remote community meant I was mostly alone with my thoughts. After the farm was sold I was left with a small inheritance. It was enough for me to purchase a trailer in a park mostly filled with miners and their families. I was tired of wasting money renting.

The trailer I purchased was at the outer edge of the park near some woods. My closest neighbor was an older man in his 60's, a retired minor named Jim. His trailer was a 10 minute walk from mine. My location was the most secluded in the park with only the one immediate neighbor and I needed that space as I was reflecting on my losses.

Of course I felt lonely at times. My older neighbor is very gregarious and soon I was often over at his trailer for company. I was comfortable with older people and we conversed for hours, played cards or chess and went for long walks in the woods.

One evening we were sipping some premium scotch whiskey and deep in conversation on his couch. Jim unexpectedly opened up more intimately about his life after I had shared a lot about my recent losses. He told me he was gay and lost his male partner a couple years before. His blue eyes misted over. He is a bald masculine man with a big frame and I never suspected he was gay. We drank more whiskey and I felt this connection between us. I gave him a warm hug and it became something much more. He held me close and I felt myself letting go. When he kissed me it just felt right. He took me to bed and undressed me. His naked body merged with mine as we made out passionately. He took my raging hard on into his mouth and sucked me to an intense orgasm. I lay back fully spent as he caressed my chest affectionately. We talked softly and eventually I reached for his cock. I wanted him to feel the same pleasure I felt. I sucked him for the first time feeling an increasing need to help him cum. His cock fit my mouth like it was made for it. Loved frenching the head and taking it all in. It was not too big which made it all even better. He blew his load in my mouth after I had sucked him for maybe 10 minutes. His cum was sweet and salty and I savored every drop. I slept over that night.

It has been over a year now of Jim and I having loving sex in his trailer. We often end up having intercourse along with the mutual oral. We take turns fucking each other. A new sense of peace and joy has come over me. Jim and I keep the loving behind closed doors so I don't think anyone in the trailer park knows about our relationship as we shop separately and don't travel in our cars together.

I'm happy for you both, but why the secrecy?

Do you intend to live the rest of your life in the closet?

Does Jim intend to live the final decade or two of his life in the closet?

How lonely will you feel after you get the inevitable call that he's died of a heart attack, or an aneurysm? Will the authorities even call you, if your relationship is a secret?

You need an active social life, including a network of gay, bisexual, and open-minded straight friends, if only so that when your partner dies, you will have a community. That community will support you, and it might be through that community that you will meet your next partner, when you are ready to date again.

As a retiree, Jim might also be facing isolation. The more authentically and openly he can live, the happier, healthier and longer his life will be.

But there's another dimension, too. Think of hetero marriage. Why do we celebrate it so much, with expensive outfits, lavish dinners, travel, invitations, g*fts, and then, ever after, anniversary cards? (All of this is superficial nonsense of course.) Relationships thrive in part because they enjoy the support of a community. They whither when they are relegated to secrecy, when they are the stuff of shame.

Granted, coming out would not be easy, especially in a small town and in a masculine field like mining, but somebody has to take the first step. The benefits to you, to the man you fuck and love, and to your relationship, will be incalculable!

You are going to find that there is nothing better than sex with mature men and women. They both cock and getting younger friends makes them feel great.

My friend in 6th grade lives in a trailer park and mom really didn't want me to go there but I snuck there anyway. That was a big mistake because most of the boy's there were doing gay stuff with the adults there for money. I was only 11 abd some of them got me and Freddie high and had gay sex with me and him. They took cellphone videos an threatening to post them we had to "trick out" for them. I didn't know what "trick out" was until Freddie explained. My first trick was an old guy who had a little dick luckily, he liked me and kept paying for me until I was use to it. We had to trick out all through middle school and then I was free because my high school was a distance away.
