Sometimes It Lands At Your Feet And You Jump At The Opportunity

At that time I was mid fifties. I worked for a company as CFO and Controller. The office manager, Susan, was divorced in her forties and we got in an affair after I took her to lunch for secretary's day. She was hot and horny, for the first week or so. She needed money for her son who was in trouble for selling pot to minors. I told her, not my problem, I wouldn't help him. She threatened to blame me for forcing myself on her. That's how I ended up in the HR office and a lawyer.

It was her word and my word, and it wasn't in the office. If I took a program on sexual harassment, and one on sensitivity, the company could ignore the problem. The office manager said something inappropriate racial about that time, and she was dismissed with a small severance.

The HR girl who gave the course, a PowerPoint with questions, told me during one of the sessions that sometimes men need the real thing, she understood, and if I needed her, she was there to please me. I thought it was a trap. One day she came to my apartment. It wasn't just me, she needed the real thing.
