I Found A Place, Far From The Maddening Crowd Where

Following a dark period in my life I took off for parts unknown. I ended up in Portland and decided to get a job and settle down. It was a nice city, then not now, before the homeless invasion. I got a job coding, it paid well enough, but I was lonely. I started creating friends online, but after hours of pretending there was nothing.
