Some Girls Don't Have A Protector, They Don't Want To Obey Him

My friend accepted to meet a man after work. He was bringing a friend so she asked me to go. We went to a restaurant in the fun part of town. My coworker JP walked in and saw us. He didn't hesitate and walked over and told me I was leaving. I know when I need to do what I'm told. In his car I got a long never ending lecture. When we got to my place he told me not to repeat my mistake, the next time he would get mad at me.

I never meant to offend him. Next day I apologized. My friend felt I offended her. It was damned if stayed and offended Adam, or damned if I didn't follow my instructions and offended her. I can't, never could, offend Adam.

In the end Adam took care of me and I forgot about the issue. Several weeks later an incident happened and a girl was assaulted. Adam told me it was the one I had sat with. He was arrested and the girl was in the hospital. I found out it was my friend, it was a sexual assault. With a beating.

Adam took me on a vacation. I know better than not following Adam's instructions. It's the reason why a girl has a protector.
