The Biggest Danger We Face Is Bring A White Female And Young
This is not political, it's a social commentary
I met Christine in college and we became instant friends. When the opportunity came we moved in together. After graduation we moved to the big city for a job. We both got jobs pretty quick and we moved into a new complex. She had a car from college, so we used it to commute.
On the way home from work one afternoon we were rear ended by a van. A man who was beside the van got out and ran over and told us to raise our windows, lock the doors and don't get out. What we saw was through the mirrors and turning our heads, the van driver had a machete in his hand, and the man was keeping his distance from him. Christine jumped out and sprayed the man with bear spray, but not before he cut her with the machete.
The man, the one who told us to stay in the car, hit the van driver and stomped him on the throat, so he could render aid to Christine. The cut was deep, and he used his belt to apply a tourniquet before enlisting another driver to take us to an ER.
Christine was charged with assaulting the man with bear spray, the good Samaritan for assault and battery. The van driver was released, never charged for wielding a deadly weapon at the other man.
Christine and I gave up our jobs and moved. Our good Samaritan followed us after his lawyer got the charges dropped, and eventually married Christine. I married a 'bad ass' cop. We both have two children apiece.
Don't think for a moment that what happened to that poor girl on the tram the other day was out of place. This has been going on for a long time. RIP young lady, those responsible for your death are the DAs and judges, and they are walking free.
