Following In The Family Tradition, I Need To Land A Husband

In my family I have a grandmother and an aunt that are gay. They both married men who could support them. In return they had a family for them and kept the home fires burning. But now, it's my turn to figure out what I'm going to do. I graduated last spring from college and I have still not landed a job. I am waiting tables.

There is a guy, he and I went to high school, he has an engineering degree and is single. I've been 'well advised' to get him to marry me before some other girl shows him what's under her skirt. I have gone out with him three times, but I haven't put out yet. I know he's frustrated, he wants to.

If I give him what he wants, then I have nothing to negotiate with. If I don't, I'll be a date but not a marriage prospect. I want him to 'ask' me. But he's a grabber not a talker. I don't like being humped. It bothers me. If I marry him I know I will have to follow through. If I don't marry him, I can always be a waitress. I'm not so much scared about the marry a man thing, I can fake it just as well as my aunt and grandmother did. After all, there is no social downside to having a real close girlfriend.

So, I'm in a hurry. He's not getting younger and there are other girls out there. It's not that I can't find some other guy, but this one I know well. And that's important. It's hard enough faking it, without having to fake it with a stranger.
