Coming To Terms With My Gay Side
After college I took a gap year and went traveling. I did Europe and SEA and was in Chile when I ran into a guy who told me he was going to climb Aconcagua. I researched it, and thought I could do it. We had to practice, develop resistance. We practiced on weekends, and we were lucky no falls or injuries. We were at a base house, small made of stone and thatch, alone and it was pretty cold outside so we had a small fire. The base houses are maintained by the military.
He came over to me and put his hand on my thigh, way up high and started to caress me. It was inconceivable what he was doing, I froze and he proceeded to kiss me. In a second he had his fly open, and was feeding me his hard dick. In the darkness I took his dick in my hand and put his dick in my mouth and proceeded to make love to his dick, until he finished. I cleaned my face off and turned to the fire.
He set his groundcover down and mine on top of it and he invited me to come over and lay down with him. At altitude, over five thousand meters he performed sex on me, not once, but twice. We took the sleeping bag and put it over us and we fell asleep with his arm over me. He slept, my brain wouldn't let me.
The sum of it is that I distanced myself from him, and I didn't climb Aconcagua with him. I flew home, and looked for a job and processed what had happened. I excused it to myself and made believe that it wasn't something that defined me. Until the next time, when I sucked off a man I met at Home Depot. No names. Just a desire that overwhelmed me. Well, that was it. I kept my gay feelings to myself and did not share them. I met gay men at clubs or gay parties. I avoided HIV but I did catch an STD.
I thought about him, what was he doing but decided that was fruitless. I wasn't going back to Chile to live like a hermit making money as a tour guide leading people on expeditions across the backbone of South America. He is as far away from me as conquering Aconcagua.
