Told Her Time To Go Back To Work

We ended up pregnant almost a year into the relationship, I was twenty three and also about a year into my career. We were certainly not planning to have kids at all but I also was not about to just walk away and send money every month. We got married and had another child two years after the first one, we made it and they both are in college. I asked my wife about five months ago to start looking for work, she never went to college and had worked server jobs until we were pregnant, did not want the kids in daycare so she became a stay at home mom which was totally fine with me. Now though, the kids are grown so get a job and start earning some retirement money to add to the end goal.
So now the sex part comes into the picture. She started greeting me when I got home with tell me about your day while I suck your cock and waking me up in the morning for work with a blow job also. She often would join me in the shower also again sucking my cock, was going to work on some days already two blow jobs in for the day. She then played the "Well, if I go back to work....and I finished her sentence saying "Let me guess, no blow jobs and sex all the time"
She then wanted to know just where we were at for retirement, wasn't that enough for us she asked, never enough money I told her and if she works even a twenty an hour job for the next ten years I can retire early. I find it just amazing that I have to explain this to her, she really thinks that people just live off of others while doing nothing.
So she finally found a job, complains all the time about how boring it is and no one she works with is her age, all twenty year old's staring at their phones all day and she needs something more for sure and you guessed it. No blow jobs since she started working.

You need to step up and take control. Let her really feel that you love her. Give her flowers or small details that she like, and help more out home, if possible? Than you might be supprised.

^ While this is a nice sentiment, men should never have to barter for sex. Substitute "money" for "flowers" and what do you get? Prostitution!

Could you retire on half of the assets that the two of you have accumulated? Note that I don't fall into the trap, so common in discussions of marriage and divorce, of talking in terms of "your" (singular) assets. The terms of marriage are clear and everything each spouse produces belongs to both!

Going back to what a divorce would look like, don't count out living in a humble but nice apartment and having freedom, plus all the sex you want with no need to sneak around.

You'll still have your relationship with your adult children, too, assuming that you proceed amicably through the divorce process. Don't blame their mom. Explain that people grow apart.

The best thing is to work with your lawyer, and propose a fair settlement that assures each former spouse a place to live and a path forward economically.

There's no need for acrimony or recrimination. Divorce doesn't have to be a TV drama! Tell her maturely that you love her, you enjoyed the years you spent together, and now, as you stare down your final two decades of your life, you want to be independent.

One thing to keep in mind is that in general, you'll be on the hook for spousal support to help her maintain her standard of living (while yours declines a bit, ironically, in this instance).

Make sure she'd established her work and income history from this job. It demonstrates that she's employable and sets a floor for what she is capable of earning on her own.

Again, unlike typical people who get selfish the minute they bring up divorce, I'm talking about dividing income that is for now fundamentally shared. The more she is able to earn from her work, the less you will have to transfer, post-divorce.

Good luck buddy. Denying sex and contributing work or income only begrudgingly are both no-nos in what's supposed to be an equal partnership.

(Note: Her past work contribution was raising your kids. We're talking about the empty nest phase now, where she has time to work outside the home.)

Happens all the time. Plenty of people out there that like to suck cock. You’ll be fine.
