My husband and I were having some marital problems and I asked for a separation. When, he told his parents, his mother called and abused me over the telephone saying she never liked me and I was an ugly gold-digger.

Despite this hubby and I patched things up. However, I refuse to speak to or see his mother again. He says she was distraught and didn't know what she was saying.

My MIL and I previously had a good relationship, but my first impression of her was that she was very fake.
