Ten Years Makes A Lot Of Difference
For a time, starting in college, I believed I was a lesbian. After college I want to work around men, and men were not what I had been told. Especially married men. And married women were different too. I suppose part of it was that I was growing up.
A man paid attention to me, got into my life, and a year later I got married, and then kids, a house, and I was one of those married women, twenty pounds heavier.
Sex is part of it, but the biggest part are my children. My husband's job requires him to travel, but he makes good money. When he is gone I think about those college girls, all but one of them married too. We had a ten year reunion, no one brought up college.
I'm pretty sure I'm not, and never was, lesbian. But that kept me 'virgin' and I didn't get pregnant. My husband reaped the rewards.
