My Aunty Is My Role Model, My Mentor, My Light.

As a young girl we weren't allowed to spend time alone with our aunt, she 'liked' young girls. When I went to college, she lived close enough and I visited her once or twice. She was an opera enthusiast, and worked as a secretary for a law firm in her town. By her own admission, she couldn't put up with a man, and never developed an interest in a dick. Her interest always gravitated to young women in the arts.

She helped me come to terms with my preference for girls. I had a crush for this one girl in my English Lit class, but she liked boys who played with balls. My aunt told me 'flat' out, falling for a straight girl was an occupational hazard.

Before I graduated I 'tried' dick. A super intelligent guy, but he had Neanderthal views on women . Still, he was a Neanderthal when he gave me dick. Over the months that followed I fell in line, and did my best to be a Neanderthal woman. I married him right after graduation. I knew it was a mistake, but he had me by the neck.

Over time I grew to appreciate my aunt. I learned from her the downfall of women, and the rise of man, that continues to this day. A lot of has to do with who has the dick. My life, is pretty good. He has a PhD now in esoteric stuff and works in a free thinking lab with other nerds. They may be smart, but they all need a mommy to wipe their butts, my husband included.

On the mating front, marry for brains, don't marry for brawn. I have a girlfriend. Her name is Paola. She's first generation American, Brazilian parents. We met in college, she had a very difficult time with her natural persuasion. But, thanks to aunty, and her words, Paola has embraced her inner self and she's my rudder in these turbulent waters navigating with a smart husband and his smart kids. One thing you absolutely have to accept, it's not sex that makes you one or the other, it's what's inside that matters. Sex is the icing on the cake. Paola has helped me embrace my inner self. I need her, she needs me, we compliment each other. Without her I'd be a miserable Neanderthal hag.
