After 5 years of joking about it and another 2 years of serious debate, and a year of preparation, my husband of 10 years and I are marrying a lovely young lady next month. Technically, he is marrying her from a legal standpoint (our "divorce" to satisfy the authorities just became final, but we have a private contract that clarifies that she and I are also spouses with all that entails.) I am looking forward to the breather from housework and childcare that our new wife will bring. Because I am better educated than she, I can get a job that will bring in more income --just in time as I think she plans to have a baby before out first anniversary.

I haven't told my family yet. They just think that "Jerry" and I are having an exceptionally amiable divorce for the sake of our two kids. I can't wait until they find out that "Sue" is moving in and I'm not moving out!

stop telling lies to your self. Your just begging for trouble.
Wait until your emotions kick in and you realize you are used up and no longer "needed". Silly woman.

Lady you will soon find yourself "out." Your "private contract" is total BS because it sounds like it's illegal in the first place. Marriage is between 2, not 3 so in effect you most likely have a non-binding contract and your X has a REAL wife. Let me guess; she's a lot younger and probably thinner.

Foolish one you are. For one that self-claims she's better educated, you sound real stupid. Want out of house work; get a job and hire a maid/housekeeper. Question; who's name wound up on the title to the house after your divorce??? What happened to any (if there were any)marital assets?

This is far more common than people think and not just among polygamous Mormons in Utah. I once worked with a young woman who was the junior wife in a triad. She was a public defender and gay rights advocate who married a pair of local artists. There were no children involved, but everyone was in financially good shape and it seemed as if they were having a deliriously fun time. I assumed that it would be a temporary situation, but it's been 10 years and I still see them around town together.

This just reeks of a Jerry Springer show. Something tells me that in 3 months or less, once they get her out of the house, we'll see these three bitch slapping each other on that show.

Talk about ridiculous!
Assuming this is even for real, you, woman, are a fool.
If you wanted to have a plural marriage, why didn't you just hold a private ceremony?
Why the public divorce?
There's a lot less stigma to having an out of wedlock child than to polygamy, so why all the stuff to 'satisfy the authorities'?
