I am dating someone 27 years older (i am 26). We live together and although not yet engaged, we are on the "marriage-path" if you will.

My family approves, but I am not close to them anyway so their opinion is easily disqualified.

The problem is that I have never had a younger man hit on me. I didn't go away to college (i attended a state school and lived in an apt) and thus the opportunities were limited (the school I went to was largely commuter and I isolated myself b/c I was working my way through as a call girl).

Call girl? Yes, and my beau is a former client. HE IS WONDERFUL. TRUST ME. If you met him, you would think "what a nice, smart gentleman".

No, I am not in it for the $$. While he is an active trader and has a net worth, excluding real estate, of a million, he drives a 11 year old nissan and is very down-to-earth. I actually spend less $$ on clothes and shit now than when I was working.

Okay, am I fucked up? Sometimes I feel like the most sane person in the world and other times I feel like I am doome.

I don't plan on having children. He has no children.

I just want to know why only older men hit on me. It's a vanity issue, I suppose, since I am only attracted to men 40 years and older.

Thanks for letting me post here, anonymous confession.

As to why older men hit on you, have you ever heard the term, 'trophy wife'?

Get more experience of men you own age.
Make yourself available to them.
That said, you may find that younger men are more put off by your past than older men, so you may have a problem there.

You say you don't want children, but you're still young.
In IO years you may feel differently.
And let's face it, when you're 43 and still rearing to go, your fiance will be 7O.
Viagra may help, but sex drive as well as erectile function declines with age.

Think it over.

thanks for all of your replies.

re: trophy wife comment, i am hardly trophy wife material...attractive, certainly, but not a bombshell

although my boyfriend said he was "stunned by how attractive my face was" when we first met.

i think hookers are supposed to have ugly faces, thus the stunned part

anyway, i love him. and that's a good thing.

As I wrote before, you're young.
There's a lot of life ahead of you.
Love isn't enough; anyone over 4O knows it.
You're already made a questionable life choice by becoming a whore.
Think things through this time.
If you can't find sensible answers within yourself, then talk it over with some one whose wisdom you've observed yourself.

He's a gentleman? I certainly wouldn't categorize a gentleman as someone who pays women he doesn't know to have sex with him...most people consider a gentlemanly trait to be respecting someone and getting to know them as a human being. By the way, fi you're still a call girl, I seriously want to know, why? I've never understood why women willingly do that, because I know I NEVER would. I'm not mocking you, I just am interested what makes women want to do that with their bodies.

Well it doesn't use a body up for one thing. As for why... well a girl I see used to hook and she told me aside from the money, making others feel good made her feel good.

I know a couple with a simalr age difference. She's about 50 now and he's 80...82, I think. He's in great shape, looks 60 max. He's been retired for many yeaers, she still works. Vacation home he summers at and she spends weekends there. He's been diagnosed with cancer, may beat it, may not. If not, she's financially set and still young enough to have a lot of fun. They have had a very good marriage and life together. If you love each other and enjoy each other's company you will make it work, just like any other marriage. Oh yeah, maybe it isn't only older men that hit on you , maybe that's what you really like and those are the only ones you pick up on and subconsciously ignore the others.
