I honestly wonder if this is a serious question.... Cheerleaders are required to wear "spankies," which are shorts under their uniforms. Most girls wear those, as well as normal underwear.

Certainly it was a serious question. I am a male and I was just wondering if they had to wear panties underneath, although I guess they would for cleaniness purposes.

yeah, that was something i always kinda wondered...i knew they wore the spankies (or are supposed to, some girls i went to HS with didn't always) but i never knew if those doubled as underwear or if they had to put on something underneath

Back in high school, I'd love sitting through assemblies, because I'd get to watch the cheerleaders go through their routine, kicking high enough for me to see their panties/sporties beneath their mini skirts. when i cheered in high school in the 90s we were required to wear regular panties or thongs and we had to prove it by showing a waist band under the spankies. which we also had to wear

My 10-year-old granddaughter is a cheerleader and she wears panties under her spankies. I know because I watch her cheer kicking her legs up and I see her little panties peeking out.
