Tampons are tools of the devil--litteraly. The damn things cause cancer! Be happy you can't make it fit. And do talk to your mom about what to do, no matter how uncomfortable it may seem; it's why you call her mom.
You're probably too young for this, but the depo shot more often than not stops the bleeding pretty damn quick.

thats bullshit. get you facts right and found out the information thats what i did
to the person recommending the depo shot...it can cause osteoperosis (sp?) how do I know, I was on it for 10 years +. other than bone loss I am healthy. Not something I would recomend to a young girl.
If it is painful, chances are you are putting it in wrong. The first time I tried a tampon on my own, I ended up putting it in where the pee comes out. (I was only 12) It was extremely painful. Later when I figured out it was the wrong place, and put it in the right "hole" there was no pain at all. Make sure it is in the right place, and try the ones for teenagers before a super sized one!!!
