For crimmonies sake, don't use mouthwash! Actually, don't douche with anything. Even though it was a female doctor who came up with this hair brained idea, I've had two or three doctors tell me not to douche, because both good and bad bacteria will get washed away, making you more susseptible to infection in your vagina. I know having your period can make you pretty stinky down there, but a nurse practitioner suggested to just splash water down inside your lips.
