Here's a thought - don't use tampons at all. Read the warning on the box; there's a cancer risk. I know pads are bulky like a diaper, and just as uncomfortable, but at least you don't run the risk of it killing you. If you're old enough, get the depo shot, and that should dry your period right up. Unless you have a weight problem, which means it would play havoc with your hormones, making you bleed regardless.
