I don't believe you. Every tampon box has both instructions and a diagram. Your probably a guy.

There are 3 holes down below. The first hole or front one is called the urethra (that's the one your pee comes from). The second or middle hole is called the vagina (that's the one where the blood comes out or the penis goes in during sex). This is the hole where the tampon goes in. The third or back hole is called the anus. I believe you know what happens there.

Here are some instructions that are provided in a box of Playtex Gentle Glide Tampons.

1. Before you start. Wash hands. Unwrap the tampon. Do not flush the plastic wrap. Applicator tip should be rounded and the strings should hang outside the small tube of the applicator. If you notice any flaws, do not use. While holding fingergrip, gently pull on the strings to make sure they are firmly attached.

2. Relax. Choose a comfortable position. Try sitting on the commode with knees apart, standing with one foot on the commode seat, squatting over the commode with knees spread far apart. Also you could stand in a shower stall or stand with one foot on a chair. Then hold the applicator fingergrip with your thumb and middle finger.

3. Positioning. Place the rounded tip of the tampon applicator at the vaginal opening. Pointing the applicator toward your lower back, gently slide the barrel into your vagina until fingers touch your body.

4. Insertion. While still holding the fingergrip, use your index finger to gently push the small tube, until your finger reaches the applicator barrel. This will release the tampon. The small tube should now be inside the barrel. Holding the fingergrip, gently pull out the two-piece applicator. To properly position the tampon, gently pull on the removal strings until you feel a slight resistence. The removal strings should be outside your body.

5. Any discomfort. The tampon may not be far enough inside. If this happens, just remove the tampon, and try again with a new one. You won't feel anything when the tampon is correctly in place. A Playtex tampon stays in place and expands in width for comfortable protection. Do not flush plastic applicator.

6. Removal. When you are ready to remove the tampon, choose the position you used during insertion (if you can). Gently pull down on the strings. The tampon should slide out easily. Either flush or wrap up the used tampon and place it in an appropriate waste container.

A tip my Mom told me is, "Every time you pee, gently tug on the strings. If the tampon is loose, then it's time to change it." A tampon can be worn from four to eight hours, unless your period is heavy or you smell an odor. Never wear a tampon when you don't have your period (unless you are practicing for a short time). Always remove the last tampon at the end of your period.

Tampons come in light, slim, junior, regular, super, and super plus. Also there are tampons that come without applicators. Use the right absorbency for each day of your period. They now sell multi-packs of tampons that have different absorbencies in it.

When using a public restroom, try to use the handicapped stall if available. This stall usually gives you plenty of room to do lady things, like changing a tampon or a pad. Also you might to carry some quarters with you, just in case you need to use the vending machines found in many public restrooms.

If you are in school, you can carry your tampons in your purse, in your bookbag, in your backpack, in a pencil case, and in your deep pants pockets. Also keep some tampons in your locker (if you have one), along with a change of clothes and panties. If you get caught off guard, you can ask your friends, the school nurse, the school office, or any female teacher. Most female teachers still get there periods. Also, keep some quarters handy, in case you need to buy one from the machine in the restroom (if there is a machine located there).

I hope this information is useful and helpful to you and every girl who wishes to use a tampon.
