When I was in the 7th grade I got invited to a friends beach house on the outer banks. She was an only daughter (no other siblings), and I was her friend for the week. Everything was great except for one small detail she failed to tell me. At home they did not have a 'dress code', or rather it was a 'not dress code'. They were nudist. The mom the dad and my friend.

What to my surprise when I got up for breakfast, the dad had on a T shirt but no pants. He was cooking pancakes. When my friend came down, she had on her underwear, which wasn't that weird, but I was fully showered and dressed.

The mom was the one that told me about their lifestyle and asked if I minded, because if I did they would cover themselves up. I said no, you go ahead. And all the while thinking it was really weird. So, during the week, at different times, or all together, they were naked or close to it. I had never seen naked adults, but there it was. They never asked me to join them, or made an issue out of it.

When my friend came to my house, she wanted to be naked, but I wouln't let her out of my room. She could be naked in there all she wanted to, but my mom would have freaked out if someone was naked in the house.

In a way it helped me grow up and helped me let go of my hangups.
