My name is Ann. I'm 23 years old, married to Michael, who is sometimes the most wonderful man in the world and at other times the bane of my existence. On his good days, he's caring, loving, supportive, and a great father to our 3-year-old son. However, on any day that he works or simply isn't feeling well, he's verbally abusive, condescending, lazy, and treats me like I'm a slave.

The sex has never been good, and he has to be drunk for me to get more than 5 minutes out of him. The only times I've had an orgasm with him are on the few occasions that he's bothered with foreplay. He fully expects me to blow him at least once every couple of days, lest he outright accuse me of cheating on him, but it's been at least six months since the last time he's returned the favor.

I've been married for almost 5 years, and I no longer am attracted to him. I work full-time (sometimes overtime) from home, making almost 6 figures a year working for a multi-national corporation while watching our son, and at 28 years old, he works part-time at a video store. He has no drive to better himself or to improve his work situation. He doesn't help out at home, either. If he's home, he's either playing with our son (which is fine) or falling asleep on the couch or watching TV. I could have worked a 10- or 12-hour shift, but it doesn't matter. If the house isn't spic and span when he comes home, I'm "lazy." It doesn't matter to him that I pay our bills and take care of our son all day, much less do everything else that needs to be done. I've been very stressed lately and gained about 15 pounds, and he incessantly pokes at me, telling me that I'm fat, and saying that if he had known I was going to let myself go so badly, he wouldn't have bothered with me. To give you an idea, I'm 5'4" and with the extra weight, weigh about 145. I still have a rather shapely figure, (my measurements are 34, 28, 38) and despite having a child, my C-cups are still quite perky.

Lately, I've been having fantasies about him coming home from work to me fucking one of my co-workers or our neighbor on the living room couch, or maybe even in our bed, just to add the extra sting. I want him to value me again, to appreciate me, to understand that he's not the only man in the world and that I can do better, and I don't think he's going to realize any of that through talking or through any of the socially acceptable venues. I would have done it already were it not for our son. I don't want out. I want him to realize how good he's got it and to man up when it comes to trying to make me happy as well. If I have to cheat to get him to see that, I'm more than willing.

OP here. I've been noticing lately that one of Mike's friends seems to be interested in me. He's a good-looking guy and is in college to be an engineer. He's also a bit on the socially inept side, but we've always gotten along. Should I go after him, guys?

Also, to #1, thanks sweetie. I appreciate the compliment. 's nice to hear something positive once in a while.

I am married and in almost the same situation as you! That is so weird and kind of cool... Well, I feel the same way. I have tried everything in the world to get him to wake the hell up, but I really don't think it's going to happen any time soon. I have talks with my husband about it, but every time I do, he just gets a tiny bit better for about 2 days then he goes back to normal.

And normal for him is being "verbally abusive, condescending, lazy, and treating me like I'm a slave". Yep, same as you. Incidentally there is this other guy I like and I really want to be with him, but I don't think I have to start anything with him. I think he might like me, but I don't know... If anything does happen, I'll post back with more details or perhaps I'll make a post of my own, tehe.

Anyway I do NOT think it's wrong to cheat in this situation, and I am happy that another guy is interested in you. Go for it and make us both proud! <3

Long term you should dump hubby. In the short term cheat with the other man but I'm not sure I'd tell hubby about it right now. Have some good sex, put hubby on notice for his behavior and see where it goes.

Sounds like the guy has NO ambition, and your covering everything making good money. So he's comfortable with a few blow jobs a week & some spending money (which I'm sure you give him) .Your future does not look good as long as your hooked up to this dude. He degrades you to make himself feel better, trying to lower your self esteem so you think you can't do better than him. I think you should get away from him & take care of you and your son. I have a friend making 150 K a year & her husband never made more than $10 an hour yet he thinks he's king shit, she buys him new pickups takes him on vacations, yet she told me he's a dud in the sack. I can't figure it out spend 30 years with that?
