I used to believe that and told the girls I dated my views on marriage. I couldn't see the point of a ring, a wedding day, the expense.
Of course, then I met a girl that I'd actually consider spending the rest of my life with. I proposed, we got married.

From what I know he is very picky and has only had a few girlfriends. He's domonstrated that he cares about me more than a lot of people and I think just the thought of the legal aspect (he's going to law school next year) is why he doesn't want to.
