My girlfriend, the woman I love more than anything in the world, my best friend, broke up with me.

I am devastated.

I am hurt beyond description.

She has listed the house for sale. She is moving to another town far away. I will be erased from her memory.

The house is listed with a realtor. She told me she has a showing this evening with a couple who are extremely interested in the house. She thinks they may make an offer.

I am slowly moving from hurt to angry. I cannot believe she treated me this way.

I still have a key to the house.

In addition to missing her, she also has a dog I loved.

Just a little while ago, while she was at work, I went to the house. I fed the dog a huge bowl of dog food.

And a bunch of laxatives.

I would do anything be at the house when the realtor does the showing this evening.

She may erase me from her life but she won't erase the marks on her new carpet.
