That doesn't make them lame. You shouldn't judge them based on whether or not their the truth or trash them because they offend your personal sense of morality (stop calling people rapists and freaks and sickos - we all have our kinks and to someone else, each of us is a "sicko" because of the things that turn us on, so don't judge).
Stories on Adult Confessions should be judged based on how entertaining they are, whether or not you found them titillating, how plausible are they and were they fun to read. I personally like the stories that are short and to the point, without half a page of needless exposition.
Recently the Adult Confessions site seems to have attracted an element of overly serious, overly prudish readers who take offense way too easily, bashing stories and their authors for everything from not being politically correct of all things to posting scenarios outside of the socially acceptable "norms" (i.e. taboo subjects like incest, drunken sex and older-younger, even when the younger is 16 or 17 years of age). These puritans leave snarky comments whining about the use of words, terms or the scenario they were offended by and then That's Lame the stories in bunches.
I personally know of two regular contributors to Adult Confessions who have over the years posted some of the better stories on here and who have received some of the highest individual story "That's Juicy" ratings ever. They both quit and walked away last night over a recent incident with the Prudes, taking their talents elsewhere.
So unless you want Adult Confessions to become some politically correct, boring site full of stories designed to not offend anyone (the equivalent of watching an old couple fuck in the missionary position, under a blanket with the lights off) you should support the stories you read that are being unfairly targeted by multiple That's Lames and unfair criticism in comments.
Thanks.
