I'll admit to being a grown man who watched iCarly when it was on the air. Miranda Cosgrove and Jennette McCurdy were both highly fuckable girls.
I was always disappointed they didn't do a lesbian angle. It's the 21st century and nobody would be totally shocked by a girl-girl relationship. There was just so much pent up attraction there, in my opinion. Sam and Carly were forever kicking back on the couch with one laying her head on the others lap, or they were getting jealous of each others new boyfriends and blaming it on just missing having extra time with each other. But that's BS. They hated seeing someone else with the girl they secretly cared about.
Sam is a great representation of a strong, somewhat butch but still very feminine lesbian girl. Carly was a great girly lipstick lesbian. They went well together. The show would have been historic if the writers had the courage to do what they should have done, and given lots of young lesbians the courage to just be themselves.
To bad.
There's always Sam and Cat (I'd love to see Jennette and Ariana Grande get it on) but I won't hold my breath.
