i'm 22 years old and i suffer of incredible stupid shyness and anxiety. and i hate myself because i never had relationship with a man because of this.i lose myself completely in front of a guy even when he makes me a compliment. what's the point of being attractive phisically if my attitude make me looking bad!it's just me and another girl from uni that never had a bf,i'm so ashamed of my forver single status that i lie when i'm asked that i had a bf before.i try to smile even if it kills me inside thinking that no one will ever like me because of my issue.

Look for a boyfriend online. No matter who you are, there's a guy, or many guys, looking for you. I sincerely believe this.

Believe me, you have a thing between your legs that most men will find attractive.

You sound young, do not worry. Your shyness will pass in time. Enjoy your innocence.

You need to start by letting yourself free with people. Try new things online and eventually outside as you are out. Flirt with everyone and don't be afraid of rejection. Go online and chat. Exchange daring pics and tease people. Then do it outside. Repeat things so you become comfortable. There are plenty of guys who would be willing to help, myself included.

lol! Yeah, there's no shortage of guys who would stand in line to be with you if you decided to offer yourself up for some experience. That's a fact! I'm not encouraging you to do that, but you should definitely know that. Your lack of experience is not a non-starter in any way. Get a grip on these needless anxieties that you have, and set them aside for a while. Whoever you meet will not be deterred by your naivety if there are sparks between you. I'm more than twice your age, so I can tell you that before you know it, you will look back at your past hang-ups and shake you head about them. I believe strongly that this will be one of them.

To have a friend, you have to be a friend. Maybe don't worry about getting a BF for now. Just practice being kind, talking to strangers and being bold with yourself.

Another thought is that online dating sites do work. Make your profile honestly. Say EXACTLY what you. Talk about who you are and what you like about life. I have dated many wonderful people this way. Made good friends and lovers.

Online dating works because you can filter out the ones who would be a waste of your time. If you are an old soul, date older people. I myself feel like an old soul. Most of my friends are 10 to 20 years older.

Blessings on your search!

Sometimes I think that even if I'm phisically ready to start a relationship I'm not mentally because I can't conquer my own anxiety and I know that every man wants a powerful and confident woman and not a unsure and timorous girl like me.Most guys wouldn't get me any chance because I'm not very open-hearted and I'm very reserved at first sight but if anyone would get me a chance to actually meet me would see that I'm a very warm-hearted and loving person.

U need to nip the anxiety in the bud before u can do or accomplish anything in life (of course if the anxiety is somewhat debilitating which it sounds like it is in ur case.) I say seek professional help to help u cope with anxiety and don't give up until u find the right psychologist. I can relate to your situation because when I was young I was extremely insecure and shy, and to this day, although I have moved on past that stage of my life, I'm mentally scared and filled with "what ifs" and regretful that I hadn't been more brave and proactive in changing my situation then. You are only young once so don't waste it living with anxiety and take care of it. Believe me when I tell u, the "what ifs" will eat u from the inside. Good luck
