You are a fucktard! Why is college and marriage, exclusive? I did both simultaneously along with the birth of 2 kids--oh, and don't forget working full time too. I held a full engineering load, graduated and have a wonderful career in my chosen field of studies. Are you just too pathetic of an asshole to pull it off?
Maybe neither of you are mature enough to understand what commitment and working together to achieve a goal is and how it works?
I'll just bet it's you're just a fucktard.
I'm gonna guess you glazed over the long distance part. The problem isn't managing both. The problem is the years in between me finishing and us living as a normal couple. I guess the closest comparison would be the strain a relationship between an overseas soldier and his wife. Minus the life threatening part. All I know is that I don't want to give up one for the other. Who knows though, maybe we are immature. Or maybe it's just not the right time or place. Or maybe, as you so eloquently put it, I am a "fucktard".
Obviously you glazed over the part where you get married and she moves in with you, and yes, you are a fucktard for not thinking of it yourself or just not having the balls to do it in the first place.
"I can't jeopardize my future..." I think that about says it all. You consider her a liability. You cannot handle living with her, and have already admitted it. That part where you day you love her, is total BS, you enjoy having her for sex and don't want to let your convenient sex partner go, but you don't really love her because if you did, then she would not be a liability and you and her would be together.
I don't know what a fucktard is, but I suspect from the wording of #1 and #3 that it fits the bill for you.
I would add that you are selfish jerk: do not ever compare yourself to the brave men and women in uniform that put themselves in harms way in service of their nation and countrymen. There is no comparison between the choice you are making and what they are doing. You are not in a situation where you can be killed at any moment. She would not be at risk of loosing her life if she was with you. You truly are a pathetic asshole.
Dude, I have to agree with what these other guys said, you're just a chicken shit little ass. She's she's probably better off without you, because you don't sound like you have the staying power to be in a committed relationship--you are too important to yourself to seriously be with anyone else.
Last time I checked, people do move across the state, across the nation, and across the world to be with the one they love. What's your problem?
The others probably hit it right on the head.
Shit, these guys got you pegged. What the hell is living as a normal couple. If that is what you're waiting for, then you're doing a hell of a lot of jerking your own and die alone and miserable--oh, kind of like you are now! HA!
Normal is what you make it and what you describe is just the rants of selfish little shit.
#6 ya, that about says it all.
you are such a jerk!
You obviously have a career path that you want and that is great.
I question what keeps you from being a couple while you are in college.
It seems as if neither of you is willing to compromise.
Why can't she move closer to where you go to school?
Is there somewhere closer you can get your schooling?
A warning! Long lasting relationships and marriage often require big sacrifices.
If both of you are not willing to either stick it out or find a solution then the relationship is doomed anyway.
