I grew up in a dual wife home. We had lots of issues, lots of fun, lots of kids, dad authority, mom conciliation, never alone, never lonely, always loved.

My dad's wives are sisters.

After I got married we moved far away, out of Canada to Arizona. I was so lonely, I missed my family, I could only think of ending my marriage and going back to Canada.

My mother suggested that maybe if my sister came to live with me I would feel better, she could be company and go
to college. My husband agreed, but not for the reasons my sister and I thought. He assumed she would be another wife.

He was very disappointed to find out there would not be any togetherness between them. We laughed a lot, he really had his hopes dashed.
