I met a guy at work and we started running around, until I went to be with him (at my place). He told me he was divorced, no children. I was ok with that.
After being with him for a while I went to his place, a townhouse in a nice part of town, really nice townhome, I could defnitely make it my home. I was in bed with him on Sunday morning, all I had on was my birthday suit, we had spent the night doing all sorts of crazy things. I wasn't even fully awake, I heard voices, his and the voice of a woman, she was standing in the room, talking to him. When I was fully awake, she said something like don't mind me, and went back to talking to him.
After she left he said oh that is my ex wife, she needs him to go run an errand for her. I am like what is this, how did she get in, why was she in his room if he had company? he was well she is my ex wife and she has the right to come into his house and he has the right to go into her house, they were married and have nothing to hide from each other.
Then he drops the news that his ex lives next door to him, right next door, and she has a key to his place and he has a key to her place, and she does most of the housekeeping for him and he does all the husband type errands for her, and they sleep together from time to time, and I am not supposed to think this is weird.
I stormed out of there, and then she came to my place to talk to me and she told me she didn't mind sharing him, he obviously liked me or he wouldn't have taken me to his place to have sex with me, and I just needed to be more grown up and accept that he has obligations with her and she made a committment to him and she wasn't going to break it just because they got divorced.
How am I supposed to deal with this? Obviously if I went to his place to have sex with him is because I was definitely getting pretty serious with him, and the idea of sharing him with his ex wife never came into the conversation.
He is not going to break it off permanently with her, he is pretty firm about that, that is why he bought the townhouse next door for her to have a place to live where he can look after her. He admits that she was probably wrong to come into his room with me there, but he had told her about me so she was fully informed that he had a guest over. She obviously doesn't mind him sleeping with me, she just thinks she still has rights to sleep with him too.
I told him to go away, but I can't go away, I'm hooked and I am unable to go away. And he won't go away either, he came to see me and spend the night, which I can't say no to. My bff asked me when I started dating him if he has baggage, but I never expected that his baggage was his ex wife forever.
