How you speak, or write in this case, reflects very highly upon you and what you're trying to say. If you're here to submit crap that is just made up, then go ahead and spell as badly as you can. And don't be surprised (and don't complain) when someone points out your bad grammar. But if you're trying to seriously get something off your chest, then take the extra few seconds to double check your writing. No one is going to go ape-shit about a typo or two, but there really is no excuse for blatantly bad spelling.

Your spelling is a reflection of your intelligence, and I've yet to read even one of the many poorly written, misspelled laden posts that have appeared on this forum, that upon completion concluded it was even worth the read.

It isn't the few mis-spellings that get on people's nerves. It's when we see one long post full of "wtfv d00d ima so stoop1d itz juz crzy"... know what I mean, dude?

it just drives me crazy the people who constantly pick at other peoples grammar, fair enough about spelling, but it is much quicker to write words short hand. Not many people concentrate on their grammar tho!!

People should concentrate on grammar. If you cannot have good grammar on a site like this, then how can you hope to have it out in the real world where it really counts?

Whatever happened to taking some pride in the way you do things. Have you ever heard the expression; It's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt. The same theory applies here. Think about it.

None of the messages typed "shorthand", much less those with a lot of typos and mispellings, convey any message worth reading, much less warranting any particularly considered response.

It's like trying to communicate intelligently with a three year old child babling about "monsters" on television: mildly amusing for about ten seconds.

Absolutely - as such, I often delete the very worst offenders.

OMG you mean there are worse! Personally it takes me much longer to read the so-called 'shorthand' than normal.
