A year or so ago, I started having these weird "bursts" of anger. I'd simply rid them by punching something or crying, or something... Well for a while, they stopped. Now, these "bursts" come back to me, this time though, they come as little....itches that cannot be satisfied unless I punch *or kick, yell ect.* something. For example, if i get too stressed out, an annoyining 'itch' will appear in my fist... it will not leave unless i puch something. At home, there are like two dents in a wall from where i "stopped the itch." Well, a while ago I got an "itch" on my hands, and it feels as if the only way it will leave is if I literally strangle someone. I rarley can ignore these "itches", and the only way they dissappear is if the consiquences become more servere it seems... I in a way am a little afraid, because, I know that these "ithches" will be harder to controll and i fear someone i care for will be hhurt on account of my actions. It won't make sense to many, but if it does to you, please help....

When you get the itch, or urge to strangle somebody put your hands around your own neck and squeeze hard, the feeling will go away very soon.

I think you need to consult with a mental health professional before you do something that hurts yourself or someone else. If you have insurance, check with your insurance company - most cover a consultation for free at least. Good luck.

You sound like one helluva frustrated human being.
That "itch" is trying to tell you something, but you are misinterpreting the data.
You need a reality check - but don't waste a lot of time contemplating your navel..........
Get some P-R-O-F-F-E-S-I-O-N-A-L counselling before you hurt yourself or someone you care about.

I agree with the reply posts. I don't know if you are male or female, but there can be many reasons why you are having these anger bursts. I know, I have been having them for three years now, but I am also presently in counseling. I am a woman and I have pent up anger, misplaced anger that caused me a lot of trouble recently. I also have a crack in my shower floor that leaks constantly, because one night a while back, I was so angry for I don't know what reason, I stomped down so hard while showering. I have no money to fix it.

My point is, this is not healthy, when you get like this you would be surprise how much physical strength you have that can cause serious damage to people or property. Its not worth it, get some help now before it escalates!
