I will donate $5.00 toward a one way ticket so that you may leave this horrid country and live in the county that our boys are dying in, to protect your sorry ass.
You're right. They are dying for nothing. The troops are not protecting us from Iraq. Iraq is not a threat. They are dying for an unjust prsident. You're not sorry, you're right.
Each death is the death of an individual free thinking person who has a family who love him and he is warm and bright and young....untill the day he arrives back home in the hull of an areoplane wrapped in wood, the air inside still and lifeless as his eyes, his mind, his heart.....now you tell me in the cold light of reality does anyone deserve to die such an individually anonomous death with just ONE families tears and the loss as individual as the person he was.
Last I heard America has an all volunteer army and death is part of war.
I agree with you, war is bad. So many young lives lost, plus it is physically, emotionally, and psychologically scarring. There has to be a better way to resolve conflict in the world.
War is bad but No.4 is right, nobody has forced these blokes to join and when they do they know there is a chance they will be sent off, with a chance of death.
Obviously the powers that be in your country believe that oil is a good enough reason to fight or they wouldn't be spending that sorth of money there. Oil is after all what keeps the modern economy going, it is used for transport, heating and electricty generation, cut those and America would stop, infact most countries would stop. Imagine it, no more driving the 2 km in your big fuck off vehicle to get a carton of milk, basically because without the oil supply your government is trying to secure you couldn't drive your car. That same car couldn't be transported to the dealer either as there would be no fuel for the trucks and ships used. While we're on transport, your milk would be out too, delivery of such huge quantities would be out of reach without the trucks running on diesel that deliver the milk not only to the shop from the processing plant but also to the plant from the farm. Still going, it would become uneconomical to run a property with only one crop, like diary. We would be looking at going back to susternance farming where it's every man for themselves.
That's the situation currently without oil.
Deaths suck but the number in Iraq and Afgahnastan are nothing compared to those lost in wars past, There is always a price to pay for the lifestyle you live.
