The "dirty south" boy who posted awhile back made me think of a similiar situation. I never had too many friends and never had a girlfriend even in my teens. Back in 1999 when I was 16 I had transferred to a new high school. On my first day, I saw this girl and fell in love with her. I won't say her name but she was Puerto Rican, gorgeous, and one of the most popular girls at the school. Her boyfriend(who was a grade ahead of her) was the typical "bad boy" type who was trying to live the life of a gangster rapper if you will. Me and the girl rode the same bus so I flirted with her all the time even though she had a boyfriend. To her it was annoying and she became so annoyed that she cursed me out, and said some horrible things to me in front of a lot of people at school trying to embarrass me. The following year(after her boyfriend grauduated) she became pregnant by her boyfriend and dropped out of school 5 months before graduation. Why she did that I haven't a clue. After she had the baby, she got fat, her and her boyfriend broke up because they wasn't getting along living together. Now in 2004 she is living on section 8 in one of the most dangerous places in town. Last year I graduated from community college and landed a great job, just purchased a 1985 corvette thats in mint condition and have a beautiful girlfriend. I saw her at the 7-eleven last weekend and she saw me with the nice car and clothes, she couldn't even look at me. To the "dirty south" boy and whoever is like us, just remember the last laugh is the BEST. They are always going to regret turning us nice dudes down.

I agree with you on your point, women like that always regret not hooking up with the "nice guys" in the end. However, the guy who posted "dirty south" concerns are mostly self inflicted rejection due to his "color code" of preference, I sure don't feel sorry for HIM.

To the last post:

Whoever said that just doesn't get it. Did I say that every Black Woman on earth was into thugs? Did I say that every White Woman on earth was nice? Did I say I hated Black People? No I did not. I'm Black and all of my family is Black and I'm proud of it and do not suffer from self-hatred!

When your "great job" is outsourced to someplace in Asia, when you and your girlfriend start to get long-in-the-tooth, and gas gets to $7.00 a gallon - will you still be laughing at some third world trollop who embarrased you in high school?
Time is a great leveller and a great antidote to too much hubris. Now that IS< ;/B> "Poetic Justice".

Good for you. I'm right there with you. I was a buck toothed geek who lived in a trailer when I was in high school. I moved away, started a business an became a millionaire by 27. Now, the girls in high school who wouldn't talk to me, who all voted themselves "most likely to succeed", are still living in our podunk hometown working at convenience stores. Peotic justice is sweet.
