We had just moved. And im used to a huge bedroom but the one im now stuck in is so flippin tiny its not even funny!!!!!!!!!!! I need to decorate it...so far the walls and the ceeling are all white (which it will not stay that way. i hate white rooms) and the carpeting is a dark grey, almost like a navy blue. I need new wall colors!!!!!i was wanting black but i realized that would make the room look even smaller and i want to stay away from the blue tho because thats what the rest of the house is. but i dont want sumthing to perky...or depressing. PLZ HELP ME!!!!!! I need suggestions on what my wall color should be!!! (oh yeah and the bed is white....*rolls eyes*) but pleeez reply any ideas.

Maybe go to the paint store and see what lighter colors might look well with your carpet with those color samples they have in the paint aisle. If you don't want something like a blue, there are a lot of other colors you could maybe match up to it if you don't want to go for a softer wall effect with the carpet. If you're into art, like impressionism for example, after you paint the walls, buy some cheap prints to hang up on the wall with some push pins so that way if you decide you want to take them down later, you can take them down easily without taking up a lot of room with pictures in frames. And the holes in the wall are so tiny that they're barely noticeable, although if you want to fill them you can use caulking to fill them. Good luck with your house and I hope I've helped you a little bit.

If you have cable or satelite, check out the Home & Garden channel, or the Learning channel. They have a lot of good shows for decorating ideals like "Design on a dime", "Trading Spaces", etc. Or you can check out their web sites.
My wife uses those shows to use for our home, and she's done a wnderful job.

Perhaps you can channel your present discontent into an ambition to obtain your own space.
Strive to get an education or skills so that you might be able to live in as large a room(or rooms) as you can afford.
Better do it quick, though - before too much longer there will be so many people in the world that only the VERY wealthy will be able to enjoy the pleasure of comfortable solitude.

Why would you make fun of the poster by saying "like" a lot. If you actually paid attention, the original post barely even has that word mentioned in it and if it does it belongs in the place it is.
