I had unprotected sex a couple days before I was due to get my period and now I've been having a lot of cramps, breaking out a little, and I've been more hungry. That always happens to me before I get my period but it isn't coming. I should have gotten it yesterday. Do any signs show up right after you actually get pregnant? I thought it was less likely to become pregnant if you were almost on your period? Please help.. I need it.

The less likely to get pregnant on your period statement is false. I know, I got pregnant with my son last year while I was on my period. I can tell you that my signs didn't show up until about a month later when I was hardly keeping any food down all the time from morning sickness. If I were you, wait 2 more days for your period. If it doesn't come, then 3 days from now I'd buy a pregnancy test like EPT and see if you're pregnant. You're still young, and your body may not be on a regular schedule yet of getting your period at the same time every month or even getting a period every month. In the future, please use a condom every time you have sex, even if you have your period. You'll save yourself a lot of worry and stress about being pregnant. Good luck to you.
