As a junior in college I decided to go do a year of Peace Corp and ended up in Peru. The area was in the jungle and pretty rural and although I had a separate place, there was no indoor plumbing or shower. These were outside behind the small house I lived in, outdoors, the village built a sort of outhouse for me, being foreign and all. As to baths these were outback and I used a large plastic bowl and poured water over my head to bathe. At first standing naked outside was horrifying, but eventually I did it, and got over the idea I was naked.

There as a man I called the local war lord, he was the man who pretty much ran everything. If I didn't get his permission, then nothing could be done. I learned lots of Spanish, and a good amount of the Indian words. Things were going good and I thought I was making a contribution.

One day the war lord came upon me when I was bathing outside. He took his penis out of his pants and I knew what that meant. I went in the house and laid on the bed and he got his business done. There were no words, none were needed. He had made his point.

After I returned home and finished college I went on to work in the local school district as an administrator. It was a long time before I allowed another man into my life. But it did not last, we just could not come together. Somewhere deep inside of me my soul is still there, in the jungle beside the river. That is where I feel I came into my own, where I grew up and gave my soul to a man.

The woman is quite accurate in her account however when she mentions the community lord, she fails to indicate him being part of the Peace Corps detail as well. She would have been aware of this upon or prior her assignment. Being a man delegated that position rests my knowledge of such. Certainly in all honesty, I had to make decisions regarding the well being of all in the area, including any ladies in her predicament regarding outdoor bathing. Fundamentally we all have needs and in a jungle community of Peru, believe me, a young man in my position within that proximity of a solo woman's living space needs only nature as a guide. i.e. you know as well as I do I never happened upon her when she was bathing naked outside ; of course I had learned her routine. That stated, one can presume that she was far from surprised even of my first visit to her quarters, or of let's say, the undocumented part of her assignment there. One could reasonably & accurately conclude my frequent, selfish parlay of her for only my needs. Truly stated, words were not needed. When I visited she knew why ; I took her at my will. It is a graphically clear exhibition of the fundamental authority a Man commands over a woman, period. Her use of written words may cause some to feel as if she was emotionally devastated by me & her several months there in the Peace Corps however I will never feel accountable. As a Man I needed to take care of myself in a foreign land. How she chose to process her experiences in Peru & the rest of her life is where this gal may need adjustment or appropriate therapy..

Your confession is so similar to mine. I too joined the Peace Corps as a junior in college and ended up in a adjacent country to Peru ; Equador. I soon found myself in nearly the exact same situation as you described here. Like you, I was a girl to the fate of nature and nature alone taught us our imperative submission to a man. Like me, I'm sure you lost track of how often your man needed to ejaculate his seed into you. I must say that the Peace Corps taught us how to be a woman physically for a man.
I too found work in school administration later and finally found a man however we weren't compatible long term. That said, David did impregnate me and I was glad to have his child regardless. Like you, my soul is most likely still in S. America too.
