I hate this nasty town we live in.I HATE the people here everybody stares at each other.Everyone around our town talks about our trashy town.

We live in a house that has to be dusted every other day because there is 10 feet of dust in the attic. In the summer it was too hot for my husband to get it out of the attic and the winter is too cold.WTF!

I clean every day and I be damned if it is even noticed. The floor got taken out of the kitchen 10 months ago and it was going to be replaced.WELL WHAT THE HELL the nasty floor is still there.

But my husband LOVES it here and as long as he is happy he feels we should all be happy. He wanted to move here not us!I had a nice job and I loved where we lived.

We have two bathrooms and can only use one because there is so much junk piled up in the other bathroom.Been like that since september of 07.

I HATE THIS HOUSE! I HATE THIS TOWN AND I WISH I COULD FIND ME A NEW BOYFRIEND AND GET THE HELL OUT OF THIS TOWN AND THIS STATE.

Hopefully our house will get the hell blown away by a tornado!Like right now my son is hollering at my daughter in the bathroom to hurry up so he can use it.Now he wouldn't have to do that if we had two bathrooms.

My sisters will NOT come visit us because they say were junk collectors.

Funny I gave some canna bulbs away the other day and my friend says wasn't that stuff leaning up against the house when we first moved here. WOW we've lived here for 10 years and well yes this stuff has been here that long.

We have broken down vechicles in our driveway and one of them has been sitting since 2000.The motor is gone from it and its still here!8 years later and it's still in our driveway.

I feel like calling my husbands brother to come for a visit. They did come visit us years ago and snuck out in the middle of the night because we are nasty.

I clean, wash clothes, cook, take care of the animals and do yard work.No I don't have a job the reason why I guess you could say I haven't the energy because I work at home all day.

I would give anything in the world to rid my life of my husbands clutter and start new. It is so embarrasing when people come over and say wow you guys could open up a second hand shop.I feel like hollering It's not my junk I swear. But I just laugh it off and crawl back into my hole.

We have two garages but I be damned if we can park our vechicles in them. They are full of boxes and empty oil can bottles.TONS of them!

We are NASTY people! We have junk that we hold on to for years and years. It don't get touched and it don't get thrown away either.

I do not know how my husband was raised but my sisters and I were raised to clean and be tidy. That is all I do is take care of everyone in this nasty house.I swear if a picture gets bumped off the wall it will be put on the table until I hang it back up.LAZY ASS PEOPLE!!

My husband just told my daughter hurry up out of the bathroom so he can shower so he can support everybody.WTF does that mean. That is the only thing he does is goes to work.If he does anything to help me outside he takes a month to finish.

If he works so hard why is the dust still in the attic and the kitchen floor is not replaced.

We did have a pretty bathroom at one time until he decided to install a shower and he replaced the walls with some white shit that you see in a nursing home or a hospital.I HATE THAT BATHROOM!It is very ugly. But then he wanted the to fix it like that because what he wants he gets and he don't give a rats ass what others think.

Can't you tell I'm bitter.I put up with all this shit everyday of my life.I long for the day when I can wear white socks in the house and they don't turn black.

Everywhere I turn there is junk, junk and more junk.He had tons of junk when I met him.I should have ran away then but all the junk caught up with me.

FUCK THIS HOUSE AND ALL THE JUNK IN IT.

Uh...I get from the text that you hate the junk in your house, and maybe even your house, and I clearly picked up on how you dislike your husband's untidy habits and his selfishness. But do you honestly hate him? And beside the fact that you can hear your kids hollering, I never thought that you actually hate them.

From the OP___The subject line should have read I hate my family life.

No I do not hate my husband I just hate his junk and the way he leaves his junk piled up everywhere. He is running out of room in the garage so now he is storing his junk in the back of the broken down vechicles. Its a real eyesore especially when you pull in the driveway.

When I tell my kids to straighten up their rooms they reply back to me daddy has his stuff laying everywhere. It's not their fault that's how they are being raised. We need to set an example for them to follow but we can't because of all the junk laying around.

Every year our town has a city wide clean up but we NEver throw things away when the time comes. We have been living like this since we moved to this dump in june of 97.

We even have two broken lawnmowers, two washers, one dryer and one deep freeze sitting around for years.

I wish I could post pics of all the junk you would be very amazed that people live like that.YES there are people who live very nasty and I wish I wasn't one of them.

Did I mention I am FUCKING sick of it all?

There is a form of mental illness, most commonly associated with depression, that involves hoarding junk, with the inability to throw any of it away. My Mom was like that before I had to move her into assisted living - and yes, she was always depressed and anxious. Could your husband be suffering from a degree of mental illness?

I feel sooooo sorry for you! I really do hon. You have to make a stand and maybe not talk to him or leave him for awhile until he cleans his act up. I feel your pain b/c you must be totally embarrased. I wish I could help you. Do you have anyone that can talk to him? Maybe your town that you live in has a bylaw against abandoned vehicles and you can call the city on him without him knowing. Threaten that u will call dyfus on him. Keep trying and don't give up. Wait until he is away for a few days and rent a dumpster and throw that shit out. Sorry for your pain. That really sucks!

Just wait until he goes to work, then call a hauling company to come a take away all the junk.
When he comes home, tell him you just couldn't take it anymore.
Either he'll understand - eventually, anyway, or he'll blow up, go out and get more junk, and you two will split up.
Either way you'll have changed the course of your apparently unbearable life.

Leave all of the junk where it is. It's too overwhelming. Take only what you absolutely need and nothing else. Use whatever money you have and move to a clean apartment in the city with just enough rooms for your kids. I'm sure they'd even rather share a room than live in trash. They might not like it at first, but soon they will be staying there full time once they realize they can invite their friends over without bieing embarassed of where they come from. Instead of spending all of your time attempting to tidy a junkyard, you'll be able to get a job and start paying towards the apartment's rent. Give your husband the job of cleaning up and selling the house he trashed. If he loves you and cares about your quality of life, he will do this. If not, leave him. You may love him but you can't raise a family in that atmosphere. You owe it to your kids. Do whatever you can and quick. I can guarantee you that if you allow this to continue, it will start a cycle that will take generations to be broken(your children's house is bound to look similar). You weren't brought up like this, don't live like this. GET OUT NOW. If this comment doesn't provoke change right now, I can see you looking back at this in 20 years, attic filled with dust, winter or summer. Dig deep inside yourself for that motivation and go with it! You won't live like this any longer! Nothing can stop you! Out you go!

Good luck!
