I wouldn't think there would be much to enjoy, with the villages all gone, the beaches washed away, and dead bodys sticking out of whats left of them.
There are resorts that had very little damage so they never show you them. Most people save all year for their one week vacation, and unless both the resorts and the airlines were giving refunds (I doubt that)life goes on. And actually; the sooner the tourists do go back the better it is for their economy.
Besides, no matter how creepy it may seem to you and me, those resorts are probably desparate right now for tourists and any money that they can get.
It's like after the big Quakes in California the last decade. It didn't stop the tourists from going to San Francisco or LA, even though so many had died on the freeways.
As callous as it sounds; life does go on.
ok, true you made your point. It just did not feel right, you know?
Yeah, I know....
What really horrifies me is something that I heard on the news this morning. Alot of the children that have been orphaned, including the European ones that were vacationing there, are missing, and believed kidnapped by these monsters that are selling them as sex-slaves. Fucking bastards.
yep. 13,000 orphans. So sad.
I guess now they are just going to have to come to America and rise up on the backs of those who are already oppressed in America.
The areas most destroyed are very heavily involved in the child sex trade. A large portion of the tourist are there for that reason. This info is on the Department of Justice web site.
I heard the same thing. Dirty bastards. It's sad that we live in a world where people feed on other peoples heartache and misery.
Ha, ha!
Touche, friend!
I wish the boo-hooers here would just move on with their sobbing to some new disaster.
As the next post shows, this area was a veritable sodom & gomorrah, so the wave may have been God's will.
