Back in the mid 1990's I worked as a shelf stacker here in the UK at Asda. One afternoon,on a really hot day, myself and a mate decided that we would keel over whilst at work in the store. We got back from lunch, started back at the produce section. We were really sweaty, had on black trousers, long sleeved white shirts and ties.We had agreed at 3o'clock that we would hit the deck and we went down like a sack of potatoes in a heap.Right in the middle of the aisle. It was brilliant.Another shelf stacker on our team had been let in on the ruse and he began checking our pulses and getting really concerened.Several other stackers came running over and we were very unceremoniously dragged right through the store to the staff area where our sweaty limp carcases were laid out, ties loosened, collars unbutoned and rolled onto our sifes ina the recovery position. We came to and were let home early due to "heat exhaustion"!!
