I have been the live in girlfriend of a man since I was fourteen. He is twenty five years older. When I was fourteen and fifteen he photographed me around the house, naked in bed , wet out of the tub, naked in the tub, anything naked. None were obscene, artistic, he loved to surprise me and would love on me afterwards.

I had a baby girl last year, we are married now, and I'm 26 now, and he took out his camera again. He is a great photographer, the baby pictures are just great. I went to the box of those nudes of me, my smile, different hair cut, some are so good. I love them. I would like to frame them, keep them for my daughter and show her mommy back when. One of me in the bathtub I really like and want to put it in a frame in my room, so he remembers me when I was young.

I shared the pictures with my mom, she agrees they are really good, but she thinks I will get in trouble. To me its art, I know now people are over sensitive, but art is art. None of these were taken maliciously, I was a subject, and I will have them in my home. Is my mom right? I mean, why do I have to keep them in a box?

You don't. I had a very similar situation. Just accept the photos for what they are, a time in your life... just don't let them get out. My uncle went to prison for it, and I still wish I could've changed that!

Holy cow this is written as if the poster lives in a police state. Sad indeed. Then comment #1 has a uncle in prison for the like?? If that's justice where they are, them people will never know the definition of liberty.

Any nude photos of a minor is considered c*******nography which is a criminal offense in most countries

3# Really?

Lets say you take a photo of your nude baby when he is having fun in bathtub, enjoying a bath, you would go to jail because of it?

If that is the case, then you live in a very sick country. That is definitely not criminal offence in most countries.

If your government cant see the difference between porn and art or regular photo, then you are certainly living in a police state.

You do need to be cautious with the pictures from when you were under age.
They are obviously very special to both of you.
Keep them that way.

But you are right also about them being art.
So if you cannot share those early pics, make new ones you can.
Build on that mutual delight you and your husband shared.
Take the initiative and tell him you want him to start photographing you again, in new and creative locations.
It would be a positive and good artful endeavor you can share.
Just an idea...

I have a friend that works in a a famous chain of drug stores. Policy for that chain is for employee's to contact the police dept if when they are developing film and see underage appearing nude pics. That includes baby pictures. I asked her even baby pictures? That what they tell us to do but I don't.

America's mentality is F'd up when it comes to nudity. Land of porn and but freaks out on simple nudity.
