I took six months off after H.S. graduation then quickly found a job at a large publisher's in the city, They don't publish books but catalogs and other business stuff. They started me in the mail room and assigned me to Tommy McBrainless, a low grade, drooling moron with a one track mind and of course, it's sex. While the internet has swallowed up almost all the communications, I have pieces of work I take around, like art and photo comps, samples, etc. McBrainless does almost no delivery but responds to problems.
My first week was fine but then, the second week, Tommy starts telling me all the office gossip and according to him, it's a wild orgy hidden only by an artificial social reality. He then told me who he is doing and despite my protesting and telling him, "That's more information than I need," he proceeded to pile on the crap. He sometimes drools while he carries on his sex-obsessed diatribes. He told me he was doing Millicent, the supply room woman, who is around 55. To me. she seems like someone's granny. He carried on with all the detail, how she likes it, and so forth. It was totally embarrassing.

He told me about others and apparently, he is, because not long ago, I shadowed him to one of his trysts and sure enough, he was doing it. I can't believe how any woman could do it with him. He looks just like Alfred E. Neuman,
the "What Me Worry" guy from MAD comics. My kid brother had a large poster of him in his room and I asked him to take it down. Strangely enough, he did, but I still have McBrainless to look at.
The final straw, I was asked to pick up some paper, envelopes and pens and walked in on Tommy banging Millie from behind. Her head was below the top of the desk so she did not see me but he did and he smiled and gave me a thumbs up. I felt sorry for Millie because she's really taking from the bottom of the pond scum and I suppose that's the best she can do at her age. I was ready to quit...not that he hit on me, he knows better even with his low I.Q, when I received a promotion to copy, as an intern.
I will leave McBrainless to the next assistant he has to break in. If possible, I will take her under my wing so ease her out of the stress. This kind of scene is totally new to me and I hope I don't face more like that here.
