My boyfriend and I moved into a two apartment duplex 6 days ago. I have never regretted anything more than this move. 6 days of listening to the evil bitch downstairs screaming at her three small children all day and all night. She has a 2, 4, and 6 year old, and another on the way - we were not aware of this when we signed the lease - and I have heard her call these kids assholes, bitches, and fuckers. And she is going to have another. The landlords told us that she only has a 4 and a 6 year old. They lied.

I don't know how she fits all these kids in a two-bedroom apartment. Maybe she stacks them up in bunk beds. Maybe she keeps some on a shelf, all I know is that I feel terrible for them. I can almost see their future, and it looks pathetic. Plus, they're ugly. Those poor kids have nothing going for them.

The woman blasts her music so loudly that it rattles my windows and shakes the floor. I went downstairs today to ask her to turn it down, but I heard her screaming - literally screaming - at her kids, so I turned around and went back upstairs. It was terrifying. Maybe she blasts the music to cover the sound of her beating them.

Six days. We have 359 more to go until the lease is up. What a mistake. The kids cry all day and all night and she screams at them to "shut the fuck up, why do you have to cry all the time you asshole?" It's horrible to listen to. I feel so depressed and disappointed in humanity because of this woman, and it's only been SIX DAYS.

As I was typing that last paragraph I heard a thump that shook the entire house, a child start crying, and her scream, "Shut the fuck up! Get in the kitchen you little asshole!"

359 days is a long time.

You should really give a call to child protective services. Or the cops, if they don't give you any good advice. You might be able to help give the kids a better shake, and at the very least have some documentation when you go to the landlords (or court) to demand that they break your contract. Don't stay in a shithole, the stress is never worth the lower rent.

I would ask to be moved into another apartment at the same complex.Cps I think should be called it is verbal abuse may be physical too.I knew people in the past that had problems with their apartment and they let them move onto another one because there was something wrong (WATER LEAK).It is worth a try,I would ask and tell the landlord why.

Why not make an anonymous call to Child Protective Services and send the little nippers on a fun-filled adventure to Fostercareland? You say the children are ugly. No one should have to share a duplex with ugly children.

Look at it this way, you don't have to waste time watching those old reality shows such as Jerry Springer, Wife Swap, or Blind date on cable T.V.
Your entertainment now comes for free.

Please do call child protective services, believe me when I say this, I was horibly abused most of my life, emotionally and physically, and it has screwed me up so badly, my hands still shake at things that happened over 20 years ago. You could stop a huge train wreck if you just take a minute to call someone- PLEASE DO IT

That is an evil woman.
